We are seeking a distinguished Sales Off-Trade Director to lead our German Sales Off-Trade Team. This role is pivotal to lead, manage and develop the German Sales Off-Trade Team to grow profit, volume, distribution, market share, POS visibility and brand building.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the German Sales Off Trade Team to achieve drive sales and transform the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive growth and achieve commercial success. This includes setting sales targets, developing sales plans, and monitoring their execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. This involves regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional service to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry. Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and other members of the Leadership Team to drive the success of Moët Hennessy brands. This includes contributing to brand building through selective customer engagement, high-quality visibility, and effective marketing activations.
  • As a member of the Leadership Team, foster a culture of entrepreneurship, accountability, and team spirit within the organization. Adapt the sales organization and market approach to meet evolving business needs, including collaboration with Austria and Switzerland.
  • Take responsibility for the recruitment, development, and training of team members within your scope. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Profile

  • Education:
    Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience:
    8-10 years in Sales or Distribution, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role managing teams of over 10 people.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Profound understanding of the Wines and Spirits industry and the German Retail market, LEH expertise is a plus
  • Skills:
    Exceptional people management, strategic thinking, structured and methodological approach, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Languages:
    Fluent in English and German; French is an advantage.
