[LVMH Beauty] Supply Planner

Position

Within the Planning team, the Distribution Planner is responsible for driving business growth and supply chain excellence by synchronizing demand forecasts with supply flows to ensure seamless product availability.

This role is crucial for streamlining inventory deployment to maintain optimal stock healthiness through advanced planning systems.

The holder of this position will work closely with various functional partners, including marketing and retail team from brands, controlling, finance, RA&QA team from BPC and regional supply team.

Job responsibilities

• Manage (bi)weekly replenishment flow for basic products from central or regional hubs to local warehouse using APS or DRP to ensure precise product availability
• Coordinate with the warehouse to expedite the receiving process for risky stock arrivals to prevent OOS.
• Conduct periodic review and adjustment of planning parameters to facilitate efficient stock deployment
• Monitor change ratios and execute corrective actions to align with up-to-date demand
• Request update forecast for products which have sudden deviation of 30% in sales

 

• Monitor and communicate the shipment status of novelty products shipments to ensure stock is ready by OCD
• Analyze the post-launch performance for novelties and execute effective replenishment strategies*( may vary by brand)
• Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings to synchronize stock healthiness with financial objectives

 

• Proactively alert brand teams regarding any risks on warehouse stocks level to initiate timely corrective actions
• Provide novelty stock availability to relevant stakeholders
• Review and propose the return of excess stocks to regional hubs or stock transfers with other subsidiaries as required

 

• Share monthly KPI reports for all brands and analyze the performance variances against targets
• Share POSM leftover report to reconcile total forecasts against actual receipts
• Share quarterly report for Code 3 shipping plan to finance team budgetary alignment
