Position

Join a LVMH Research team dedicated to transforming innovative ideas into high-performance cosmetic products. As an R&D Lab Intern, you will play a supporting role in the early stages of product development rom concept to prototype while gaining hands-on experience in formulation science within a state-of-the-art laboratory environment.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES and KEY TASKS


Support Formulation Development: Assist formulation team in creating new cosmetic products such as creams, lotions, serums, lipstick, liquid foundations and other skincare and make up formulations under guidance.

Sample Preparation & Testing: Prepare prototypes and conduct routine laboratory tests under supervision, including measurements of pH, viscosity, stability (thermal and aging), and texture analysis.

Sensory Evaluation Participation: Take part in product assessment sessions to evaluate sensory attributes such as spreadability, absorption, fragrance, and skin feel.

Data Management & Documentation: Accurately record experimental results, and support updates to digital tools and internal databases.

Product Benchmarking: Help organize and catalog internal reference products and competitive market launches to support innovation and trend analysis.

Laboratory Organization: Contribute to the daily life pf the lab by managing inventory of raw materials, ensuring proper labeling, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Standardization Support: Help build and maintain a unified template system for tracking suppliers, materials, and formulations across projects, ensuring consistency and traceability.

Throughout the internship, you will be encouraged to ask questions, propose ideas, and present your contributions during team meetings or final reviews.



EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND


Education:

Currently enrolled in Master’s program in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.

Knowledge & Skills:

Basic understanding of chemistry principles (organic, physical, or analytical) or physico-chemical properties of formulations is highly valued.

Familiarity with laboratory practices and instrumentation is a plus, but not required—training provided.


Personal Attributes:

Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Curious mindset with a passion for science, skincare, beauty trends, and product innovation.

Ability to follow protocols precisely and work safely in a laboratory setting (EHS compliance mandatory).

Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.


Language:

Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
