We are seeking a visionary Media Director to lead the media strategy for Christian Dior Couture (Fashion) in China. As a key member of the leadership team, you will orchestrate an integrated media ecosystem that elevates brand desirability for our iconic Fashion, Leather Goods, Watch & Jewelry categories. You will translate global vision into impactful local media plans, ensuring consistent luxury exposure and strengthening brand image in the Chinese market.

Job Description

1.Strategic Media Planning & Investment for Fashion Categories

•Develop and execute the annual media strategy for Christian Dior Couture, aligning with global brand direction and local business objectives.

•Lead media management for key categories including:

•Leather Goods: Driving desire and consideration for iconic and seasonal pieces.

•Ready-to-Wear: Supporting Men’s and Women’s seasonal fashion campaigns.

•Watch & Jewelry: Executing high impact launches for new collections.

•Manage the media budget in compliance with guidelines, optimizing allocation across digital (social, search, programmatic, video), print, OOH, and experiential channels to maximize ROI and brand equity.


2.Media Communication Execution

•Lead media communication and rollout plans for major image events in China (e.g., runway shows, exhibitions), ensuring maximum impact and exclusivity.

•Work closely with Central Media team to develop yearly China media strategies, co-create creative assets, and secure premium media partnerships that increase media value while adhering to global brand guidelines.

•Collaborate closely with E-commerce and CRM teams to create seamless omnichannel journeys, from awareness to conversion and retention.


3.Agency & Partner Management

•Serve as the primary point of contact for global and local media agencies, negotiating contracts, setting KPIs, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

•Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure agency accountability against agreed-upon objectives.

•Identify and test new media platforms and formats to maintain Dior’s competitive advantage in the fast-evolving luxury fashion landscape.


4.Data-Driven Insights & Team Leadership

•Utilize media monitoring and market insights to evaluate the effectiveness of brand media campaigns on sentiment, reach, and desirability.

•Collaborate with internal analytics teams to understand audience behavior and optimize media mix efficiency.

•Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing internal media team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

•Present regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting successes, learnings, and optimization opportunities.


Qualifications & Experience

1.15+ years of experience in media or communications, with a strong focus on luxury brands or fashion, including proven experience in leading and managing a team.

2.Strong network of key media contacts within the luxury fashion industry.

3.Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

4.Strategic thinker with the ability to align media initiatives with broader business objectives.

5.Fluent in Mandarin and English is required
