Position
Role & Responsibilities
1. Payroll Administration
- Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll calculation, validation, and disbursement across Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau), ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain deep expertise in local statutory requirements, including social insurance and IIT in Mainland China, MPF and RSE in HK, SSF contributions in Macau, to ensure full compliance across all regions.
- Work closely with external vendors, monitor service quality and drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and projects.
2. HR Operations Optimization
- Establish and continuously optimize unified HR operational SOPs across Greater China, ensuring alignment with internal & external audit requirements.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes across all regions, assess risks, and update internal policies to maintain full employment compliance.
- Identify improvement opportunities through automation and digital tools, streamline workflows, and enhance overall HR operational efficiency.
3. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Greater China HR Operations team, defining clear roles and responsibilities within a matrix structure while building team capabilities in payroll, compliance, and digital tools.
- Act as the bridge between Regional Hub and individual Maisons, harmonizing diverse HR requirements and promoting the adoption of best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR operations management experience in a multinational corporation, preferably within the retail or luxury sector, managing multiple brands.
- At least 3 years of Greater China payroll management experience covering Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
- In-depth understanding of labor laws, social insurance and benefits, tax regulations, and compensation practices across Greater China.
- Practical exposure to or exploration of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, HR Chatbot) is a strong plus.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
