Position

Your Impact:

Within the Demand Planning team, the (Senior) Demand Planner is responsible for managing the end-to-end demand planning of non-sellable (C3) items — from master data and forecast consolidation to consumption monitoring — to ensure forecast accuracy, optimized inventory levels and reliable supply to all channels.

This role is crucial for guaranteeing the availability of non-sellable materials for both novelty launches and basic products, while minimizing excess & obsolescence and securing year-end landing targets.

The holder of this position will work closely with various functional partners, including Supply Planning, Product Management (PM), Channels & Sales teams, Controlling, and the Central/SSC teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Master the data: maintain and supplement all C3 (non-sellable) item master data in the system (OCD, Chinese names, capacity, EOL status, etc.) and manage local set creation and C1-to-C3 conversion processes.
  • Consolidate the forecast: consolidate and manage the C3 demand forecast for both novelty and basic products, ensuring alignment between brand, channels and supply chain.
  • Monitor consumption & inventory: track C3 consumption against forecast on a regular basis, alert on over- or under-consumption, set up channel reservations, and pilot stock rebalancing together with each channel's excess & obsolete action plans.
  • Coordinate demand & supply: work closely with the C3 Supply Planner to follow up new launches and basic products, pilot the end-of-life (EOL) of C3 items, and coordinate with PM and channel heads on allocations in case of tight supply.
  • Secure the year-end landing: follow up purchasing and consumption plans with channels and supply during the last quarter, and work with the Controlling team to monitor year-end landing.

PROFILE

Ideally, you would have 3-5 years’ experience in demand & supply planning or trade marketing, ideally within the FMCG or retail industry (handling a large variety of SKUs preferred). A Bachelor’s degree is required; an overseas education background is a plus.

Hard Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/demand planning tools (SAP APO or similar) for forecasting and master data management
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, with a logical, detail-oriented mindset
  • Fluent business English, both written and spoken, to collaborate with China and Central teams
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain processes (S&OP, inventory management, EOL management).
  • Good communication skills with maturity to work with different stake holders in both China and Central.
  • Strong sense of ownership, able to work independently and drive outcome under pressure and tight deadline

PARFUMS CHRISTIAN DIOR
MAISON

Christian Dior described himself as a fashion and perfume designer. The House of Dior, founded in 1946, changed the face of ladies’ style forever when its New Look was unveiled in the halls of 30 Avenue Montaigne on February 12, 1947. The revolutionary look was accompanied by a fragrance, Miss Dior, the finishing touch designed to “leave a trail of desire in a woman’s wake”. This timeless perfume was the first fragrance created by a visionary brand which invented the concept of global beauty with its Rouge Dior and subsequent cosmetic lines. The current-day trustees of this legendary expertise – Francis Kurkdjian, Perfume Creation Director, and Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup – are the heirs to Christian Dior’s perfectionism. The worldwide renown of the House’s creations is partly down to its seductive muses, including Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman and Robert Pattinson.
