Applications open for the 2026 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers

LVMH launched its Prize for Young Fashion Designers in 2013. This competition is open to fashion designers from all over the world aged between 18 and 40 who have created at least two womenswear, menswear or genderless ready-to-wear collections.
TIMELINE OF THE PRIZE
The applications for the 13th edition of the LVMH Prize will open on Monday 17th November 2025. They will close on Sunday 11thJanuary 2026.
Applications must be submitted on the Prize website: lvmhprize.com.
The semi-final of the LVMH Prize will take place on Wednesday 4th March and Thursday 5th March 2026. It will be accessible to all on the Prize website and social media from Wednesday 4th March 2026,
and will be an opportunity for the Prize Experts and the general public to discover and select the finalists among the competing designers.
The LVMH Prize includes four awards:
- The LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. The Winner receives a 400,000-euro endowment and enjoys a tailored mentorship by LVMH teams who provide support in many fields, such as sustainable development, communication, copyright and corporate legal aspects, as well asmarketing, manufacturing and the financial management of a brand.
- The Karl Lagerfeld Prize. The winner receives a 200,000-euro endowment and enjoys a one-year mentorship by LVMH teams.
- The Savoir-Faire Prize. The winner receives a 200,000-euro endowment and also enjoys a one-year mentorship by LVMH teams.
- The LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Graduates. The three winners, graduating in the current academic year, join the creative studios of the Group’s Houses on one-year contracts. They and their schools each receive a 10,000-euro allocation.
Applications for graduates are open from 17th November 2025 to 5th April 2026 on lvmhprize.com.
