On July 15, 2026, as part of the longstanding partnership between LVMH and Robert-Debré Hospital, Le Jardin d’Acclimatation welcomed nearly 50 children and their families for a day organized with Professor Bérengère Koehl from the Sickle Cell Disease Reference Center – Pediatric Clinical Hemato-Immunology Department.
Designed as a joyful break filled with discovery and togetherness, the day gave children and their loved ones the opportunity to fully enjoy the park’s attractions, as well as a friendly picnic on the terrace of the Grande Verrière. A welcome moment during the July heatwave, families also discovered the new “Pirates and Corsairs Island” area, with its two new attractions, and cooled off in the paddling pool, sharing a happy moment together in the heart of Le Jardin d'Acclimatation.
Since 2011, the Group has been committed to the fight against sickle cell disease by supporting the reference center at Robert-Debré Hospital in Paris, one of the largest pediatric reference centers in Europe. Through this commitment, LVMH and its Maisons help strengthen care for young patients and their families, while also supporting research into a genetic disease that is both widespread worldwide and still far too little known.
This commitment is reflected in particular through the Dîner des Maisons engagées, an annual event that brings together the Group’s Maisons and their partners to raise funds for the hospital. Since the beginning of the partnership, several million euros have been raised to support research, improve patient care conditions, and advance projects at the Sickle Cell Disease Reference Center, including its expansion and renovation to provide more suitable and welcoming care spaces for the children treated there and their parents.
Beyond financial support, this long-term relationship is also expressed through a tangible closeness with care teams and families, through initiatives such as this day at Le Jardin d’Acclimatation. The event offered children and their loved ones a welcome escape from the realities of daily hospital life.
Through this day of sharing at Le Jardin d’Acclimatation, LVMH once again reaffirms the continuity of a commitment deeply rooted over time, in service of the children, families, and teams of Robert-Debré Hospital.
