As a source of inspiration, a fertile ground for creativity and a provider of treasures, nature has been at the core of the Chaumet identity since it was founded nearly 250 years ago.
Having benefitted from its rich bounty, the Maison is proud to return the favour by investing in nature conservation and continually deepening its commitment to this cause.
Grounded in the present and simultaneously mindful of the challenges that lie ahead, Chaumet has increased its initiatives over the years, enshrining its social and environmental responsibility policy in the LIFE 360 programmespearheaded by the LVMH group. These initiatives already include a patronage partnership with the Reforest'Action organisation, the transport of boutique decor by ship, and the management of the Maison's carbon footprint.
The latest initiative is a patronage partnership with WWF France to take action in France, Japan and China. Since 2025, Chaumet has been once again distinguishing itself through its commitments and going even further in contributing to the conservation of nature. With this ambition in mind, the Maison has signed a sponsorship partnership with WWF France for the first time in its history.
From 2025, and continuing over a three-year period, the organisation and Chaumet are working hand in hand to safeguard biodiversity. Through this partnership, the Maison is actively participating in the financing of domestic projects in France, via Nature Impact Fund, as well as the financing of two projects in Japan on the island of Honshu. In China, it fosters sustainable forest management in the Taihang–Yanshan Mountains.
These ambitious and assured actions demonstrate the extent to which meaningful Chaumet jewels are much more than just jewellery, and the extent to which humanity and nature are at the heart of all its projects and creations.
