From Paris to Shanghai, LVMH is celebrating its artisans and Virtuosos, whose mastery embodies the excellence of the 45 Maisons opening their doors to the public from October 16 to 18 for the sixth edition of Les Journées Particulières.
Under the leadership of Antoine Arnault, who launched the event in 2011, LVMH officially opened this sixth edition of Les Journées Particulières with a launch evening held at La Samaritaine in Paris. The highlight of the evening was the LVMH Virtuosos ceremony, which honored 69 artisans recognized this year for their exceptional savoir-faire and commitment to passing it on. A few hours earlier, a launch event had also taken place in Shanghai, marking the international opening of this new edition across 13 countries.
At the Paris launch, Group representatives, artisans, Maison teams, partners and media were invited to step into the world of Les Journées Particulières through a series of craft demonstrations, a showcase of the “At the Source of Dreams” campaign, and an immersive journey revealing the diversity of the 71 locations open to the public this year.
“When we had the boldness to launch this event in 2011, I immediately felt it was meant to last, because it shines a light on what makes our Group so unique. In these unsettled times, when everything moves fast — sometimes too fast — it is precious to return to what truly matters, and to be moved by the beauty of a gesture and the emotion it carries from one generation to the next,” said Antoine Arnault, Image & Environment, LVMH.
The 2026 class of LVMH Virtuosos
Created in 2021, the Virtuoso title recognizes experts from LVMH’s Métiers d’Excellence for both the mastery of their craft and their ability to pass it on to future generations.
At the launch evening of the Journées Particulières, 69 new Virtuosos from the Group’s six business sectors were honored. Each received a pin designed this year by Maison Fred, inspired by its iconic Force 10. The recipients were called to the stage to receive their distinction from Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, LVMH, joined by Marion Bardet, LVMH Métiers d’Excellence Director.
“Being recognized as a Virtuoso is a recognition of both exceptional mastery of a craft and a genuine commitment to passing it on. By joining this community, each Virtuoso helps cultivate an excellence enriched by sharing, and shaped by each individual’s unique talent and sensitivity.”, said Maud Alvarez-Pereyre.

An evening at the heart of Les Journées Particulières
Designed as an immersive preview of the sixth edition, the evening brought together the event’s defining themes ahead of its public opening. A manifesto film, video capsules, presentations of the open locations, and a spotlight on the roots of dreams — nature, culture and craft — all brought the spirit of the 2026 edition to life.
Several Maisons also presented live demonstrations, including Berluti showcasing its shoemaking excellence, Moynat with bag personalization, and Louis Vuitton with an embossing experience. Workshops built around exceptional products from Cova and Hennessy punctuated the evening, while La Grande Épicerie de Paris curated the event’s culinary experience. Immersive stations also allowed guests to explore several of the emblematic sites opening as part of Les Journées Particulières.
The evening also highlighted a circularity initiative, LVMH on Stage: the jackets created for the teams dedicated to the event were made from Louis Vuitton leather offcuts and fabrics sourced from Nona Source, the resale platform for exceptional materials from the Group’s Fashion & Leather Goods Maisons.
A launch also celebrated in Shanghai
A few hours before the Paris evening, a launch was also held in Shanghai, at Louis Vuitton Mansion and Maison LVMH, in the heart of the historic Zhangyuan district. Following a video introduction by Antoine Arnault and welcome remarks from Michael Schriver, LVMH Group President North Asia, and Andrew Wu, President of LVMH Greater China, highlighting the deep and lasting roots LVMH Maisons have established in China, guests, media and key opinion leaders discovered the program developed for Les Journées Particulières in China, which this year is holding its first-ever collective edition in the country.
As in Paris, the evening placed the Group’s artisans center stage, with live craft demonstrations and a visit to Maison LVMH, which brings together 15 Maisons. It marked the opening of a three-day program that reflects the fully international dimension of Les Journées Particulières.
