From Paris to Shanghai, via Tokyo, Rome, and New York, LVMH’s Journées Particulières have officially begun. For three days, 45 Maisons are inviting the public to discover 71 exceptional locations across 13 countries. It is an invitation to return to the roots of the dream, where nature, craftsmanship, and culture give rise to exceptional creations under the expert hands of our artisans.

It is in China that this sixth edition of Les Journées Particulières began. In Shanghai, in the historic Zhangyuan district, LVMH brought several of its Maisons together for the first time around a shared experience within Maison LVMH, while just steps away Louis Vuitton offered an immersion into the Maison’s heritage and craftsmanship at Louis Vuitton Mansion, from trunk painting to the creation of its iconic bags. This opening in China, also carried by Chandon in Ningxia and Officine Universelle Buly in Hong Kong SAR, illustrates the depth of the ties that have united LVMH and its Maisons with the country for many years.

Next stop, Paris. At 30 Avenue Montaigne, the historic address of Maison Dior, visitors stepped through the doors from 9 a.m. to go behind the scenes of creation. Through encounters with artisans and the discovery of the craftsmanship that shapes the Dior universe, the immersion took place at the very heart of the ateliers, where each gesture, patiently passed down, brings excellence to life.

In Tokyo, RIMOWA offers a journey of a different kind... At Ginza Sony Park, the Maison traces the singular journey of its suitcases, from their making to the repurposing of their materials. A way of celebrating craftsmanship designed to accompany travelers over time.

A change of scenery at Château Galoupet, on the French Riviera! Facing the Mediterranean, Journées Particulières visitors set out to discover a singular terroir, shaped by nature and by those who cultivate it. The estate belongs to the select circle of vineyard properties worldwide certified Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC), one of the most demanding standards in the world: cover cropping, the elimination of synthetic chemical inputs, and the restoration of microbial life in a soil made of schist, sandstone, and quartz. Beyond the vines, the estate is committed to preserving an entire ecosystem, from protected woodlands to ecological corridors and partnerships dedicated to safeguarding local wildlife. They walk the vineyards and trails alongside the château's teams, who share their perspective on this daily work in service of the land.

In Italy, the spotlight turns to Ghemme, where Loro Piana honors a craft defined by finesse. Inaugurated last September, the Knitwear Center of Excellence spans 8,000 square meters entirely dedicated to knitting, from yarn research to hand finishing. Here, cashmere, Baby Cashmere, vicuña, merino wool, and Pecora Nera® all take shape under one roof, in a building designed to live in harmony with the Piedmont landscape: natural light, photovoltaic panels, zero fossil energy. Journées Particulières visitors discover, under the artisans' hands, the most delicate gestures — linking, mending, hand finishing — passed down from generation to generation. A complete immersion into the materials and techniques that define Loro Piana's renown.

In Rome, set against the spectacular backdrop of the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana, the famed "Square Colosseum" that houses Fendi's headquarters, the Maison looks back on ten years of creation. Journées Particulières visitors are immersed in a dialogue between the successive visions that have shaped the Maison, from Karl Lagerfeld to Maria Grazia Chiuri. Intricate embroidery, architectural cuts: every piece reveals the mastery of materials that defines the Fendi signature. On site, artisans share their passion and demonstrate live, before visitors' eyes, the gestures and craftsmanship that bring each creation to life.

In Switzerland, at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, high watchmaking comes alive before your eyes. The watchmaking workshop is in full motion before visitors, with artisans bent over their benches, every movement precise, every mind fully focused. You watch, you move closer, and minute by minute, these exceptional timepieces take shape. The place itself breathes the avant-garde spirit of Louis Vuitton: here, precision is not a constraint, it is an art. And behind every gesture lies a legacy—that of a man who invented the “Art of Travel,” and of a Maison that has never strayed from it.

In Provence, some vines have more than a century of stories to tell. At Château d’Esclans, rosé is a matter of terroir and patience. Visitors set out to discover this estate nestled in the Provençal landscape, where century-old vines help shape the identity of the Maison’s wines.

Once upon a time, there was a tiara… At Chaumet, the story of the Maison’s creations has been unfolding for more than two centuries, in the wake of Empress Joséphine, the first great inspiration behind its universe. In its hôtel particulier on Place Vendôme, the Maison opens its doors to Les Journées Particulières visitors, revealing a savoir-faire where elegance of design, precision of gesture and jewelry-making excellence give rise to exceptional creations. It is a journey behind the scenes of creation, where every detail tells the story of an art deeply rooted in the Maison’s history and constantly reinvented.

Let’s go where sketches come to life. Prototypes are among each Maison’s best-kept secrets. In the heart of Paris, at Louis Vuitton, this is where designers’ drawings meet material for the first time and begin to take shape under the expert hands of artisans. Today, the most curious visitors were able to discover, step by step, the birth of these creations that already hint at the collections of tomorrow.

Next stop: Paris’s Left Bank. At the headquarters of Les Échos-Le Parisien group, Les Journées Particulières visitors discover the behind-the-scenes of how news is made. Because journalism, too, is a savoir-faire: practical workshops, debates and meetings with reporters allow them to explore the professions of the press and the different stages of news production. For two hours, they are immersed in the very heart of what brings current events to life each day.

Can the invisible be sculpted? That is the very art of Maison Francis Kurkdjian. At its new Paris offices, Les Journées Particulières visitors are invited to take part in a masterclass exploring the full richness and many facets of olfactory material. It is an immersion into the secrets of composition, where creativity takes shape through what, by nature, escapes the eye.

To close this first day, the journey heads to the United States, to New York, where The Landmark stands as Tiffany & Co.’s historic home since 1940. There, Les Journées Particulières visitors discover an exceptional journey through nearly forty works by Damien Hirst, Rashid Johnson, Anna Weyant, and Daniel Arsham, in dialogue with the history and codes of Tiffany & Co. Among the Maison’s creations in the spotlight, Bird on a Rock, created in 1965, is a reminder that one day, a bird perched on a gemstone was enough to propel the Maison into legend.
