From one Maison to another, from one universe to another, Les Journées Particulières take you on a new journey today at the heart of LVMH savoir-faire. From the vineyards of Champagne to the landscapes of the Cape, from the banks of the Charente to Swiss watchmaking manufactures, this second day outlines an itinerary punctuated by the gestures, materials, and artisans that bring the creations of the Maisons to life. Let’s step behind the scenes.
The weekend begins on Rue Vivienne. It all starts with the material. At Celine, visitors discover the importance of full-grain leather, chosen for its suppleness, resistance, and ability to develop a patina over time. A wonderful way to enter the universe of the Maison, which is opening the doors of the Hôtel Colbert de Torcy for the very first time. The journey doesn't stop there: pattern-making, cutting, embroidery—a succession of precise and patient gestures that give birth to every piece!

The day continues at Place Vendôme, where precious stones have a thousand stories to tell. At Bvlgari, visitors discover what makes a gem unique: its color, its brilliance, and the characteristics inherited from its formation deep within the earth. An introduction for Les Journées Particulières visitors to the gemmologist's eye and the Maison's high jewelry art.

Back to Italy, one of the historic cradles of LVMH. In Milan, it is hard to resist temptation. At Cova, the historic Italian pastry institution founded in 1817, the chefs open the doors to their expertise and step behind the stove to share their recipes and some of their secrets with Les Journées Particulières visitors. Masterclasses and demonstrations celebrate seasonal ingredients, precision of movement, and everything that brings the Maison’s iconic sweets to life.

In Burgundy, the early risers have already braved the mist. Since the first hours of the day, visitors have been walking through the vineyards of Domaine des Lambrays in Morey-Saint-Denis. On the agenda: discovering the Clos des Lambrays, a Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits whose eight hectares tell a long winemaking history. An invigorating stroll in the open air to dive into the secrets of this exceptional terroir from the LVMH group's oldest Maison.

In Shanghai, an unprecedented collective project is being showcased all weekend: fifteen LVMH Maisons have gathered in the heart of the historic Zhangyuan district. Craftsmanship demonstrations, talks, encounters, and an exhibition allow everyone to learn more about the universe of the Group and its Maisons, and to linger over the details of a creation or a piece of jewelry, guided by the artisans present. A dedicated room also allows younger visitors to practice drawing. Throughout the tour, a system of different colored stamps punctuates each stage of the visit: once gathered, they reveal, like a fresco, the facade of the LVMH Maison.

Like every weekend, la Samaritaine is open to all. But, for Les Journées Particulières, in the early morning it reveals an unusual side to our visitors, far from the hustle and bustle that fills its aisles during the day. It is an opportunity to take the time to look up at the department store's decor: Art Nouveau frescoes, floral ironwork, friezes, and motifs inspired by flora and fauna create a setting where the architecture itself becomes a work of art. Beneath the iconic glass roof, a true technical feat of its time, the spectacle is also overhead as a living testimony to the golden age of Parisian department stores.

Christian Dior had found his corner of paradise in the south of France. At the Château de La Colle Noire, in Montauroux, very close to Grasse, the historic cradle of perfumery, the gardens are inseparable from the history of the place. Visitors can discover a Parfums Christian Dior herbarium, couture pieces, and an olfactory trail—a genuine invitation to trace the couturier's sources of inspiration. Between scents, Mediterranean vegetation, and timeless elegance, one finds here some of Christian Dior’s most personal inspirations, whose soul still and always inhabits this magical place.

A bespoke shoe cannot be made in a day. At Berluti on Rue Marbeuf, visitors discover a craft where patience is as precious as dexterity. From cutting the leather and assembling to the final touches, the artisans detail the manufacturing steps and answer questions from the curious.

On the Champs-Élysées, Maison Guerlain has opened the doors of its historic boutique, a true Belle Époque setting classified as a historic monument. Behind this iconic facade, the Parisian public discovers the natural ingredients that compose the Maison's perfumes, as well as the precise gestures of the Dames de Table, guardians of a unique savoir-faire in the world of high perfumery. Between iconic bottles, exceptional raw materials, and olfactory creations that have marked the history of perfume, the experience brings heritage, transmission, and creation into dialogue, to the great delight of the visitors' eyes and noses!

How does the grape become cognac? In Juillac-le-Coq, near Cognac, Hennessy has opened the doors of the Domaine du Peu to the public for the very first time. With the harvest barely over, visitors retrace the steps of this transformation—from grape to wine, and then to eau-de-vie. At the heart of the distillery, copper pot stills take over, under the watchful eye of the Maison's teams. A rare opportunity to discover the secrets of a centuries-old process.

165 years of history, and always a step ahead. In La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, TAG Heuer welcomes the curious and brand enthusiasts to its manufacture. It is an opportunity to take a very close look at the mechanisms hidden behind the Maison’s chronographs. Watch aficionados are well served, and so are novices: you don't need to know watchmaking to appreciate the precision and passion of its artisans.

What does a terroir tell us? At Krug, in Ambonnay, the answer lies notably in the vines. The Maison takes visitors on a journey to discover the art of blending and aging, two essential steps in crafting its champagnes. A story of time, patience, and nuance that begins long before a bottle is opened.

In São Paulo, beauty is also about hands-on experience. At Sephora’s Eldorado flagship, visitors step through the looking glass and join Beauty Advisors for tours and masterclasses, including a session in sign language. Advice, techniques, and demonstrations offer a chance to try out new gestures and discover the day-to-day work of the teams who bring the store to life.

In Reims, Veuve Clicquot welcomes guests in grand style. In the intimate setting of the Hôtel du Marc, the Maison's historic residence, the butlers reveal the subtleties of their craft to delighted visitors. Because a great champagne deserves to be served with the same care that goes into its creation: hosting cannot be improvised, and table setting, service, and an eye for detail all contribute fully to the experience. A discovery of French hospitality, passed down by those who practice it with art, every day.

Aprons tied, time for the chefs! At the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Hakuba, within Cheval Blanc Paris, visitors discover some of the secrets of Japanese cuisine. Preparing futomakis, crafting mochis, tea ceremonies: the workshops showcase the meticulous attention paid to every gesture. And they remind us that gastronomy begins well before the first bite.

In France, the day concluded in the Bois de Boulogne with evening tours of the Jardin d'Acclimatation and the Fondation Louis Vuitton: two different ways to experience art and architecture. At the Fondation Louis Vuitton, visitors explored the exhibition Gustave Fayet, Collector – Creator. Icons of modern art came to life through guided tours and family workshops.
Meanwhile, the Jardin d'Acclimatation offered a timeless experience. As night fell, vignettes and play of light brought to life a stroll inspired by the opening of the Garden in 1860. A dive into the history of this iconic place, where characters from the past come back to life.

This second day comes to a close, but Les Journées Particulières continue tomorrow, with new experiences to discover around the world...
