First stop: behind the scenes of high jewelry at Tiffany & Co.

In New York, the Tiffany & Co. Jewelry Design & Innovation Workshop invites visitors to discover the different stages that go into crafting Bird on a Rock Fine Jewelry, from the initial sketches to prototyping and gem-setting. Designed by Jean Schlumberger in 1965, this iconic creation inspired by nature presents a bird delicately perched upon a gemstone, capturing a fleeting moment elevated by exceptional expertise. The story of this brooch began with a single piece crafted with white and yellow diamonds for Rachel “Bunny” Mellon, a friend of the designer and prominent New York art collector. Since this time, the bird has been continuously reinterpreted.
Creating a Bird on a Rock brooch begins with an extensive study of avian movement and posture by the Tiffany Design team, brought to life through the specialized craftsmanship of more than eight artisans over the course of approximately 50 hours. Each bird is meticulously sculpted to harmonize with its unique gemstone.
The Bird on a Rock by Tiffany fine jewelry collection presents Nathalie Verdeille’s reimagining of Jean Schlumberger’s iconic Bird on a Rock brooch, translating the spirit of the original design into modern expressions. Every delicate diamond bird is crafted using the same specialized high jewelry techniques that define the original Bird on a Rock masterpieces, underscoring Tiffany’s enduring commitment to artistry and craftsmanship.

The Paris Match photo archives

Step into a confidential space near Paris where more than 77 years of photojournalism come to life. Guided by archivists and a journalist, visitors will discover the inner workings of a photo collection unique in Europe that bears witness to major historical events of our time, the lives of celebrities, and our collective memory. Founded in 1949 by Jean Prouvost, the weekly magazine developed a singular editorial vision, blending major reporting, international news, in-depthinterviews, and memorable scoops. Day in, day out, the archivists work to preserve and enrich this visual memory,classifying, documenting, digitizing, and publishing, thus ensuring this living heritage is preserved in line with the publication's editorial and environmental commitments.

Inside the Celine workshops in the heart of Paris

Based since late 2014 at 16, rue Vivienne in Paris, within the Hôtel Colbert de Torcy—a 17th-century mansion built by Pierre Le Muet—the Celine workshops will open their doors to the public for a unique educational tour. In this history-steeped setting, visitors can learn about the techniques that shape the ready-to-wear collections and follow every step of garment creation, watching those proficient hands take a piece from patternmaking and cutting to assembly and embroidery. Through a set of precise, patiently executed techniques, the material reveals its true quality, giving rise to pieces with unique character.

All aboard for a journey along the Charente with Hennessy

In Cognac, Hennessy invites you to discover the region from a different perspective:, on the water, aboard a solar-powered boat. Sailing down the Charente river, visitors will be able to admire the quaysides, learn about local history, and discover the profound connection between the Maison and this essential natural resource, the water.

Founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy between the eaux-de-vie market and the river, the Maison grew alongside the Charente, which contributed significantly to its global renown. This riverboat journey pays tribute to the flat-bottomed boats of the past, while shining a spotlight on Hennessy's commitment to water preservation, central to both its past and its future.

Born from a unique terroir, cognac represents the combination of grapes, water, wood, and the skill of humankind. Its eaux-de-vie, aged in French oak barrels, express the true wealth of this region.
