Because luxury depends deeply on natural raw materials and complex supply ecosystems, corporate environmental responsibility must extend across the entire value chain, engaging the suppliers, agricultural producers, growers, breeders, and manufacturers whose daily expertise makes our creations possible.

A pioneering partnership with Bpifrance for climate adaptation
This ambition is taking shape through several concrete initiatives, including a brand-new partnership with Bpifrance under the LIFE 360 Business Partners program, designed to support French SMEs and very small businesses in adapting to climate change.

This initiative comes at a critical time when the physical impacts of climate change are becoming increasingly visible and concrete for businesses, from extreme heatwaves and flooding to wildfires, declining agricultural yields, and supply chain disruptions.

While many programs focus primarily on decarbonization, this partnership addresses an emerging and vital challenge: climate adaptation and enterprise resilience against physical climate risks. Jointly led by LVMH’s Environment and Industrial teams, the initiative brings together 7 Group entities and 11 participating suppliers, establishing one of the first structured approaches by a major group to help suppliers anticipate and manage climate vulnerabilities.

Through co-funding with Bpifrance and ADEME, participating companies will benefit from comprehensive climate adaptation diagnostics enabling them to:

  • Identify their specific climate vulnerabilities.
  • Anticipate risks of disruption or business interruption.
  • Construct tailored adaptation and business continuity plans.

The objective is to foster operational, directly actionable solutions to reinforce supply chain resilience, with initial results expected in early 2027.

Extending collaboration to the agricultural heart of our value chains

Beyond industrial resilience, this collaborative approach extends directly to the agricultural heart of our value chains. LVMH will hold its first Luxury & Agriculture Meetings on September 24 at Château Galoupet, bringing together 25 farmers from diverse backgrounds, including flowers, cattle, and viticulture, to listen, exchange, and better understand the day-to-day financial, operational, cultural, and generational challenges behind agricultural transition.

LVMH's activities rely heavily on natural raw materials produced by farmers and breeders worldwide. As the Group advances the deployment of regenerative agriculture, fostering this closer dialogue with those working the land remains critical to ensuring a grounded and shared transition.

Connecting environmental ambition with financial reality

To successfully turn long-term commitments into tangible execution, LVMH also continues to foster dialogue between environmental and financial stakeholders through a Group-led forum designed to connect sustainability priorities with business and the financial dimension of transformation.

Through LIFE 360, LVMH continues to turn collaboration into action, alongside its partners, across sectors, and throughout its value chains, proving that the environmental future of luxury is built collectively.
