Loro Piana adds new chapter to its rich sailing history with Giraglia Regatta 2025  

Loro Piana marks a new chapter in its rich sailing history: the Maison is once again official partner and Title Sponsor of the Giraglia Regatta 2025.

Organized by the Yacht Club Italiano with the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, the mythic regatta is one of the most prestigious events on the world sailing agenda. This year’s race from Saint-Tropez to Genoa via Corsica takes place from June 7-14. 

Emblematic of tradition, fair play and ultimate performance, the Giraglia resonates with values that define Loro Piana, whose engagement celebrates a deep family passion for the sea and an art de vivre infused with elegance.  

The Loro Piana Giraglia 2025 starts with four days of coastal races off Saint-Tropez, leading up to the event’s iconic 241-nautical mile race to Genoa via the Giraglia islet off Corsica, set for June 11. Pier Luigi Loro Piana, Deputy Chairman of the Maison, will compete in the race aboard his boat My Song, carrying on a tradition that fuses technical prowess and poetry.  

Throughout the week, the Loro Piana Giraglia Lounge and Race Village is hosting boat owners, friends of the House and sailing lovers in a space designed as a refined haven overlooking the port of Saint-Tropez. Decorated in natural tones and featuring Loro Piana Interiors furniture, the space illustrates a uniquely refined art of hospitality with a warm, enveloping ambiance. 

The Loro Piana Giraglia Cup and Defender trophies are displayed at the Race Village ahead of the prize ceremony in Genoa on June 14. Three Defender jackets are given to the three race winners.
