Loro Piana celebrates sailing excellence at Giraglia Regatta 2026

Loro Piana embarks on a new chapter in its sailing history in Saint-Tropez at the Giraglia Regatta 2026. As Title Sponsor of the storied event, the Maison celebrates a sailing legacy steeped in performance and tradition.   

One of the most prestigious regattas on the Mediterranean sailing agenda, the Giraglia each year draws an international community of both amateur and professional crews. The 73rd edition of the offshore race between Saint-Tropez and Genoa – via the iconic Giraglia rock off northern Corsica – brings together more than 200 yachts from around the world.  

True to its heritage, Loro Piana has nurtured a close relationship with the world of sailing for decades. This passion is championed by Pier Luigi Loro Piana, Deputy Chairman of the Maison, who will once again compete aboard his yacht My Song, carrying on a family tradition embedded in the DNA of Loro Piana.

The week kicks off with four days of inshore races in the Bay of Saint-Tropez ahead of the highlight event, a 241 nautical mile offshore race from Saint-Tropez to Genoa.  Throughout the event, Loro Piana welcomes  boat owners, crews and sailing enthusiasts to the Loro Piana Giraglia Lounge and Race Village, conceived as elegant convivial spaces where the community can gather, overlooking the port of  Saint-Tropez.
