Louis Vuitton Announces 2025 Winner of the Accessories Design Graduates Initiative: Kexin Zhang 

Louis Vuitton is proud to announce the winner of the second edition of its Accessories Design Graduates Initiative (ADGI), an annual competition that highlights and celebrates innovation, creativity, and talent among graduating students from the fields of fashion, art, and design.

Launched in November 2023, this second edition brought together over 400 students from 32 leading partner institutions across Europe and the United States, reaffirming the House’s ongoing commitment to fostering exceptional craftsmanship in leather goods and accessories. 

The House is delighted to reveal the 2025 winner of the Accessories Design Graduates Initiative: Kexin Zhang, a Chinese designer with a distinctive background in fine jewelry. Trained at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts (TAFA) and further refined at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Kexin specialized in jewelry design, goldsmithing, and silversmithing. 

Her exceptional craftsmanship, forward-thinking vision, and strong design sensibility stood out during the selection process. The projects she submitted showcased her ability to translate her precision and creative flair from jewelry into leather goods design, bringing a fresh and original approach to the Maison’s legacy. 

“When I design, I'm driven to explore every possibility. The process feels limitless; I want to experience it all. This opportunity is an exciting avenue for that exploration,” says Kexin Zhang. 

Kexin will join the Louis Vuitton leather goods and accessories teams, where she will contribute to ongoing creative dialogue and design innovation within the House. 

The competition’s jury, composed of internal Louis Vuitton experts, shares a passion for innovation, excellence, and daring creativity. Carefully selected for their ability to identify emerging talent, they play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Louis Vuitton designers.
