Position

Mission:
Reporting to the HR Director Korea, this role act as the Champion for strengthening talent acquisition and diversifying talent sourcing while accelerating talent development in Korea zone.
Main Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing and Acquisition
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition and retention process for both office and frontline retail positions
  • Propose and implement talent acquisition strategy, overseeing the recruitment and selection process, providing management with effective recruitment solutions in a cost-effective manner
  • Work closely with line managers to identify the right talents and develop a talent pool for future pipeline
  • Plan and execute recruitment activities including job description development & review, candidate interviewing, reference checking
  • Giving priority to direct sourcing/recruitment instead of appointing contingency agencies
  • Develop employee awareness of diversity and inclusivity, create a recruitment strategy that will keep team members informed about diversity programs and policies
Talent Development and Employee Engagement
  • Handle staff onboarding and orientation ensuring all new joiners are equipped with necessary company information
  • Administrate Performance Review process
  • Identify high potential and top performers
  • Work with line managers for individual staff development plan
  • Accelerate internal mobility across the region and across function
  • Evaluate and identify training needs for both office and retail employees, this includes identifying and arranging internal and external training programs as well as delivery of programs as required by the Company
  • Support the HR Director for Organization Management Review process
  • Align with HQ/regional team on talent mapping process and to implement effective succession plan to support the development of key talents
  • Ensure proper communication and feedback channel is developed, formal and informal, between company and employees
  • Able to identify issues and opportunities to improve the engagement level of staff
  • Involve in employee engagement/CSR activities

Profile

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years HR experience in service industry, retail is an advantage
  • Well versed in in local labor regulations
  • Degree qualifications in HRM or related disciplines preferred
  • Excellent people and communication skills to effectively deal with personnel at all levels
  • Flexible and be able to work under pressure and handle uncertainty
  • Committed to fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle technical and soft side of HR
  • Dynamic, independent, and highly organized
  • Must have good command of written and spoken English
  • Hands on computer skills (Words, Excel, PPT, etc)
