MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
The Manager, Global Marketing – Skincare will plan, support and manage the development and implementation of the Global Skincare Marketing strategies. Through portfolio management, innovation pipeline, product campaigns and go-to-market strategies for the Skincare business, the Manager, Global Marketing – Skincare will be a key player in fresh’s overall 360 Global Marketing strategy. The Manager, Global Marketing – Skincare will represent Global Marketing as a liaison to various cross-functional teams such as Creative, Product Development, and Operations among others.
A highly analytical and creative thinker coupled with a strong digital mindset, the Manager, Global Marketing – Skincare will be excited to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The Manager, Global Marketing will be a proactive and collaborative team-player with a passion for beauty, keeping up to date with trends and competitors within the beauty market.
Profile
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner in the implementation and development of the company’s overall Global Marketing strategies, campaigns, and 3 year plan as it pertains to the skincare business
- Act as central liaison in the development of skincare Marketing programs supporting franchise and product launches; collaborating with Internal teams (Creative, Product Development, Storytelling, Global Communications, Visual Merchandising)
- Identify gaps and suggest new skincare product innovation based on analytics, regional trend insights, and category opportunities while leveraging creativity and beauty intuition
- Lead in the creation and issuing of Project Briefs and other formal internal communications to move projects forward as needed
- Liaise with all Fresh internal teams including Product Development, Operations, Packaging, on the development of new product launches
- Manage day to day needs and internal processes to execute approved plans inclusive of overseeing the development of relevant plans, research, legal approval of execution, internal communication to partners and regional teams in fresh’s global markets
- Drive an omni approach to Integrate campaign and product to create a true 360 marketing go-to-market strategy, by partnering with Campaign Operations, Digital, PR/Social, Merchandising, as well as markets; during the ideation stage for global synergy
- Craft powerful product storytelling and positioning in partnership with product development & storytelling
- Assist in development and issuance of agendas and feedback for cross-functional team meetings and agenda items

- Help maintain Global Launch Bulletins that include all new product launch information
- Research and analyze market trends and competition, inclusive of competitive shopping, for product gaps, research, and opportunity
- Assist in the analysis and compilation of product launch post-mortems globally
- Attend Marketing, Packaging, and New Product Development meetings as needed in order to achieve milestone dates by interacting with key departments
- Mentor and empower 1 direct report
What you will learn in the first 6 months:
- Learn the role and scope of main cross-functional partners (product development, packaging design/development, project management, forecasting, etc.) and develop collaborative working relationships with key day-to-day partners
- Become expert in top Skincare franchises - including but not limited to – product/ingredients benefits, positioning, competition, and fresh innovation pipeline
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude by fully owning updates for assigned projects (i.e. Launch Bulletins, Core Skincare Business Performance Tracker, Skincare Franchise Mapping)
What you will achieve in 12 months:
- Initiate program development for assigned franchises and clearly compile & disseminate program details and objectives to all support groups, in a timely manner, to ensure programs meet brand’s strategic and financial objectives
- Act as point person for cross-functional teams and continue to anticipate, identify and come up with resolution for operational issues in NPD process
- Be fully versed in fresh internal processes and continuously come up with ways of improving fresh processes
Additional information
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the beauty industry, specifically in skincare marketing/development
- An energetic, passionate and creative thinker with a curiosity for all things beauty
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate through complex/ambiguous situations and seeks creative ways to get things done
- Demonstrates ownership of programs, embracing strategic vision as well as excellence in execution

- Strong digital mindset when approaching new projects; digitally savvy, active and highly engaged in social beauty spaces
- Demonstrated interest in brand strategy, brand marketing and 360 activation/development

Salary Range:
$95,000–$120,000
