Position

As the Marketing Manager for Benefit Cosmetics, you are fully responsible for developing and implementing MKT, PR and Digital strategies, keeping in mind the importance of bringing to life the DNA of the brand in fun, disruptive and innovative ways!

Job responsibilities

Marketing

  • Implement annual marketing plan in coordination with European Marketing team: 360° marketing plans and launches in order to support business priorities. Manage launches follow up by consolidating post campaign reports and providing sales results and analysis monitor. Report all ROI of all programs for management reporting and feedback.
  • Meet budget guidelines while achieving the highest ROI
  • Lead presentations to main retailers, negotiate EDG and identify marketing and promotional opportunities
  • Manage and execute visual merchandising in all channels, store renovation and design according to /adapted from Regional requirement.
  • Develop competitor and customer insights (about new products and promotional activities) to make diagnosis and strategic proposals for the brand to the Local and Regional team
  • Forecast accurately samples, collateral, testers, one shot limited editions and promotional materials. 
  • Ideate, create, and execute culturally relevant and targeted campaigns that complement regional campaigns (e.g. street marketing, outdoor events, partnerships).

 

PR, events and partnership

  • In coordination with the digital advocate, implement a strategic long-term plan to translate brand DNA into a comprehensive PR action plan to grow brand awareness & drive incremental press in collaboration with the Regional Marketing team.
  • Liaison with Digital Regional team to plan and strategize National Brow Artist program for all press opportunities.
  • Organize events to promote the brand and product launches in the press and with influencers
  • Ideate, forge, and execute brand partnerships that expands Benefit’s reach to new customers, while maintaining aspirational brand imagery, including but not limited to sample boxes, licensing, and consumer activations.
  • Schedule sales meetings with the staff all year long and coordinate animations to the field.

 

Digital (Social Media, CRM & E-Retail)

  • In coordination with the Digital Advocate and in cooperation with the European Digital Team, manage digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement and acquisition in the digital space.
  • Oversee and plan digital marketing activities (brand and product campaigns) with e-retail partners to secure online visibility, create sell out and increase Benefit’s ranking
  • CRM: negotiate and implement CRM strategy

 

Profile

· Bachelor's degree or higher preferably business or marketing related

· Professional level Marketing experience of 5 years, specifically in either the consumer goods or the cosmetic industry

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities; able to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

· Facility to interact with team members and partners across all functions and levels

· Demonstrated public speaking and written skills.

· Must be self-directed, resourceful with creative problem-solving ability skills

-You have a strong command of English and a good working knowledge of dutch.

· Experience with Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint

· Most importantly, loves to laugh and have fun!
