BVLGARI is looking for an energetic and highly driven Client Advisor to join our dynamic team here in Singapore.

The Senior Regional Business Controller will be a key member of the APAC regional executive committee, working closely with the APAC Managing Director, country managers/sales area managers and HQ finance team to manage all financial and administration topics related to the Perfume Division in Asia Pacific (main point of contact for reporting, budgeting, business analysis, credit/internal control)

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales reporting and analysis: weekly sales reports, monitor performance of sales & margins highlighting areas of development/concerns for the various sales channels
  • P&L Monitoring and Control, being able to identify risks and give recommendations to the MD. Close follow up on all expenses and costs, with deep knowledge of each impact on the business. 
  • Follow financial closings from the affiliates, being the main point of contact between region-HQ, making sure the books are compliant with Brand’s & LVMH rules.
  • Budget: support the budget, revisions and 3-year plan processes and presentations, prepare the sales budget/revisions with country managers/ASM, coordinate the budget/revision process with the various departments to ensure timely submission to Corporate, 3-year plan projection and preparation for the various channels, budgets/revisions input and submission into the Corporate planning system
  • New projects: analysis and recommendations to support business model evolution in the different countries, preparation of ad hoc reports and presentations requested by the Managing Director
  • Procurement: monitor the compliance with the company’s purchase procedures, audit invoices vs supplier contracted rates, support legal department in contract management, manage contract renewals with expiration notifications and terminations
  • Pricing: orchestrate the price study to guarantee coherence between channels, lines, countries, in collaboration with heads of region and marketing team. 
  • Internal control: conduct trainings to enhance internal controls/financial understanding and customer data protection awareness, ensure anti-money laundering rules are complied, fraud reporting to MD/HR/Corporate, provide support on ad-hoc special control issues raised by MD, facilitate and manage internal audit
  • Support Commercial & Marketing Team on Sell Out Monitoring. Be the point of contact between the team and external suppliers (panels) to guarantee accuracy of the data.
  • Credit control for all clients: liaise with Corporate Risk on credit terms/limit for existing or new accounts, manage credit block/release
  • Manage 2 financial assistants, being able to mentor and motivate them in partnership with commercial heads.
  • Administration: liaise with legal on distributor agreement terms and conditions, review contracts with business vendors/partners and liaise with legal where applicable
  • Others: liaise with IT and support activities for new projects (SAP/POS), cooperate with IT and Corporate to implement new functionalities

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance.
  • 7+ years’ experience in Financial operations / similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent in English, good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team, self-organised, disciplined and hands-on
  • High level of professionalism and attention to details
  • Good interpersonal skills and communicate with all levels in the organization and stakeholders in verbal and written English.
  • Possess strong sense of business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Experience in the beauty business and full understanding of the industry is a plus.
