Position Summary:
The Perfume Training Manager is responsible for the education of the sales force team by providing them with the product knowledge, sales and soft skills necessary to meet productivity goals and luxury service standards.
This position’s UNIQUE responsibilities will include but are not limited to conducting training sessions for the Bvlgari Field Team, supporting the development of the Bvlgari Field Team and adapting Global Training Tools to meet the needs of the local affiliate. They will take action under the direct supervision of the Marketing Director and will work collaboratively with other members of the local Perfume Team and Global Training Department members.
Job responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Serve as liaison with Global Training Department, attending Global training sessions as required
- Develop and execute the Training Calendar in support of the annual priorities and oversee the in-store coaching plans of the Bvlgari Field Team
- Deploy trainings to Area Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Account Coordinators, Selling Manager and Distributor Training partners around new products, the client experience, selling techniques, brand history and storytelling
- Participate in retail coaching / in-store observation sessions and provide feedback to local Sales Leadership and Marketing Director
- Collaborate on the On-Boarding process of all regional retail hires
- Assist in the localization of any training initiatives launched by central training
- Create and follow-up on needs analysis and action plans related to Mystery Shop initiatives
- Conduct large-scale regional trainings as needed
Profile
Key Competencies:
- 5 + years’ experience in training or field sales in a luxury brand
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and work independently
- Retail and wholesale experience preferred
- Knowledge of luxury fragrance market preferred
- Demonstrated written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills
- Demonstrated coaching skills and facilitation within Luxury environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Ability to manage financial responsibilities in a timely manner
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
- Language Skills: English, Spanish
