Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Marketing Associate Manager to drive the strategic promotion and distribution of BVLGARI products. This role is crucial in enhancing brand visibility and driving sales through effective collaboration with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. The Associate Manager will lead the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, manage marketing resources, and foster strong partner relationships to achieve sales objectives and elevate the luxury client experience in alignment with Bulgari's brand values and global strategy.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading Strategic Promotional Planning and Execution
  • Lead the conceptualization and proposal of ideas for promotional activities, in-store activation, and project-based initiatives (e.g., Brand events, sales-related events, corporate events). Lead their implementation and organization by developing and evaluating all necessary information and materials.
  • Lead assigned projects, managing deadlines and schedules. Also, support other projects managed by the entire Trade Marketing team.
  • Educate and train partners on promotional campaigns, product usage, and benefits to ensure effective communication with end-users.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of promotional activities and marketing materials to identify market trends and opportunities.
  1. Sales Support Tool Management and Optimization
  • Manage sales support tools by monitoring their production/distribution quantities and the details of all promotional materials, and suggesting optimizations for requests.
  • Implement sales promotions and coordinate the distribution of resources, marketing materials, and displays to support initiatives.
  • Review and modify translations for promotional materials in line with Bulgari Tones & Manners to ensure they are effective sales tools (including managing price lists, etc.).
  • Continuously evaluate and analyze offers and costs from various suppliers to seek efficiencies in all trade marketing expenditures.
  • Manage and supervise on-site operations for set-up, during events, dismantle, or launch projects at venues and stores.
  1. Partner Relationship Management and Communication
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with distributors, and retailers to understand their needs, identify potential obstacles, and develop incentives to increase sales and brand visibility.
  • Prepare presentations on promotional projects and associated cost estimates for senior/manager review and ensure timely creation of pre/post-event (promotion) reports.
  • Regularly communicate with Rome HQ to progress local/global projects and submit pre/post-project reports accordingly, aligning with internal reporting standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams within Marketing & Communication, and other departments/sections within the company, to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Act as a supportive team member, both contributing proactively and following guidance, to achieve shared objectives.
  1. Budget Management and Performance Reporting
  • Manage the budget for each project/event
  • Monitor event budgets, set clear KPIs, and measure and report ROI, incorporating learnings from the Senior Manager.
  • Support the manager in preparing presentations and updating projects through regular reports.
  • Maintain the latest estimates through close communication with vendors, process expenses within deadlines, and actively support expense processing within the department.

Profile

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: +5 years of related experience in trade marketing, sales promotion, events, or a similar role, preferably within the luxury goods sector.

Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail. Proactive, creative, and managerial skills are essential for this position.

Language: Excellent communication skills in Japanese; English proficiency
