Job responsibilities

As a Store Operations Supervisor, your mission is to put the Store team members in the best conditions to perform by leading the Operations (BOH efficiency, WW Care services…), the Image (Maintenance and IT issues) as well as the Administrative Procedures. You work in tandem with the Boutique Manager/ Store Operation Manager that you report to and lead the BOH team and Operations team to strive for excellence, secure the efficiency & effectiveness of the operations and embrace change for business performance. You will utilize communication and people management skill; to propose solutions to the Boutique/ Store Operations Manager and influence the client facing team members. The ultimate goal is to exceed clients’ expectations indirectly and permanently improve Customer Journey in the store and beyond.

Operation:

  • Inventory Management
  • Operation efficiency
  • WW Care Services
  • Prevent Stock Lost or stock damage and ensure operations efficiency
  • Monitor the BOH compacity and work with Boutique manager / Department manager to do necessary replenishment.
  • Ensure Operation efficiency and product flow are followed the Company regulations
  • Clear understanding and execution on WW care service policy
  • Notify the sales team regarding the receipt of stock and coordinate on the defective items
  • Check invoices against delivery spreadsheets
  • Perform daily routine/ spot check to maintain the standard of housekeeping
  • Be one of the important participants in monthly stock take investigations punctually.
  • Check emails and follow up closely on Regional transfers and couriers
  • Manage the daily stock delivery, client’s repair and logistic
  • Select the most appropriate way to transfer stock
  • Bin management handling and prepare required reports

 

People Management:

  • Propose solutions on operation and related matters to Boutique Manager / Store Operations Manager
  • Responsible for the management of BOH team (if any) and Part-timers including daily job duties, work schedule and grooming
  • Provide guidance on the job tasks and service standard of the team
  • Develop a good team spirit within BOH and extend the collaboration to other Boutique staff and across Boutiques

 

Boutique Administration:

  • Handle cashiering, daily till reconciliation, cash counting on sales transaction and closing, emails. Etc.
  • Manage the records of the cash-in, cash-out, Acco and store credit notes
  • Update the transaction information to the system
  • Handle the Boutique and staff’s expenses reimbursement
  • Coordinate with internal staff and external vendors on daily store operations
  • Feedback the performance of vendors to Boutique Manager/ Store operations Manager or Retail Operations team
  • Perform the replenishment of Boutique supplies, packaging, equipment, staff uniform and other materials to ensure the Boutique operations can run smoothly
  • Consolidate and validate staff timecards, leave, OT records etc. and report to HR team timely
  • Responsible for the BOH operations in Boutique events
  • Be the champion with the Retail Handbook and comply with the related procedures & regulations

 

Boutique Maintenance:

  • Ensure boutique maintenance is up to standard, deal efficiently and closely monitor to the work performance of external vendors. (including IT support/supplies)
  • Feedback the performance of vendors to Boutique Manager/ Store operations Manager or Retail Operations team
  • Be the bridge between office operation team and IT team etc. 
  • Be one of the core staff to actively support the logistic of Boutique events
  • Maintain the professional image in line with Company standard

Additional information

Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • Diploma or above

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with 1 year at supervisory level in the luxury retail industry
