Position

  • Act as the point of person for all communications between construction consultants, vendors and architects in order to execute corporate specifications/guidelines and work within set budgets and time frames.
  • Ensure the store concept is applied properly and review the quality of the construction and follow through throughout the DLP period.
  • Constant communication and managing expectations with different countries and departments is required. (Retail, IT, VM, etc.)

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate project opening/closing, retrofit, maintenance and procurement for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
  • Manage contractors, vendors, suppliers and landlords when appropriate or requested.
  • Work with department heads / (Country heads if needed) on project planning and ensure execution meet the target objectives, budget and timelines.
  • Monitor and control project schedule and cost, manage contracts and to ensure the projects are completed with brand’s standard, on time and within budget.
  • Go through a fair tendering process with our counterpart, direct negotiation is required if needed.
  • Follow up on projects: review, evaluate and suggestions on improvements.
  • Conduct reasonable site visits and store visits if required.
  • To prepare a project and its budget/procurements in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Responsible to evaluate risks and make decisions.
  • Liaise with Paris Architect and other departments in determining needs and timeline.
  • Keep strong communication with all stakeholders & other departments externally and internally.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Profile

  • Degree or relevant professional qualifications in Project Management/Interior Design/Architecture/Civil Engineering or related discipline with minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of quality suppliers and building materials.
  • Experience in Retail/Construction background is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking in procurement, vendors management and project management.
  • Time management and sense to details is key.
  • Good commercial and aesthetic sense.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent command in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Multitasking, able to work under pressure within demanding environment.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Able to identify risk management initiative
  • Able and willing to travel.
  • Proficient in CAD, Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Photoshop.
