CELINE is looking for a Facilities Manager to join our Store Planning team in North America reporting into the Directore, Store Planning, North America.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

Based out of the New York City corporate office, the Facilities Manager is responsible for executing the maintenance and repairs of the retail network in North America for our free standing boutiques and department store concessions.

Your impact

  • Work closely with stores and store planning team for tickets and timely resolution to store maintenance issues.
  • Manage punch list for all new store openings and support store planning team for long term projects including retrofits/renovations and wholesale conversions
  • Create and maintain Facility plans to meet requirements for boutiques and concessions, balancing scheduled maintenance work and respond to store maintenance concerns in an efficient manner
  • Source, contract and manage several external Facility service providers. Ensure contractual compliance for Facility Service delivery from External Service Providers and Landlords by active performance and contract management
  • Ensure all equipment and parts are ordered on time from IT, Store Planning, etc, to support the business effectively. Work closely with IT partners for tickets and timely resolution to issues.
  • Track and maintain all records for floor plans, specs, materials, projects, and preferred vendor list for each store;
  • Review installations on-site as required, verifying that repairs and lay-out improvements are being installed correctly;
  • Drive collaboration with retail and operations department to understand business needs and plan and execute accordingly.
  • Support Store Planning and lead store teams to ensure effective project management of store projects; including store openings, expansions and/or renovations.
  • Develop cost effective maintenance and operational improvements of retail facilities and equipment in North America
  • Responsible for the Store portfolio Facility cost budget, based on agreed requirements and planned activities.
  • Work with outside vendors and consultants as needed
  • Ensure best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations team to align on all operational expectations for freestanding stores and department store concessions

Keys for success

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Consutruction Administration field or similar experience preferred

Profile

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in retail facilities role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Service Channel or similar ticket platform
  • Knowledge of standrad quality meand and materials in construction and millwork for luxury retail environments
  • Experience managing luxury and specialty Retail and Wholesale projects
  • Hold previous relationships with vendors in HVAC, construction, and maintenance
  • Detail oriented, proactive and highly organized
  • Able to quickly shift from design creativity to management
  • Skilled at making decisions and solving problems when necessary
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced collaborative environment with changing priorities.
  • 40-50% travel (domestic and international). Ability to travel at short notice on an adhoc basis.
  • Ability to work closely across global teams and local teams. Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative and supports Managing Director to foster a team environment amongst cross functions
  • Solid understanding of labor laws for US and Canada and demonstrates strong HR sensibility and critical thinking.

Languages: Fluent in English, French is a plus

Additional information

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000-$115,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
