Position

The Assistant Product Manager - Knitwear supports the Product Manager for product planning and execution of Knitwear, working closely with the Design, Pre-Industrialization, Production, and external suppliers and helping in assuring the detailed outcome of the product in the achievement of aesthetic targets with respect to the delivery deadline, the quality standards, and the profitability required by the Company.

Job responsibilities

  • Supports in defining that all prototype and sample development and production activities are following the costs and timelines defined for the category, collaborating with the Company functions involved
  • Supports in ensuring the management of the production phases of Knitwear, through the coordination of external suppliers, with the objective of respecting the established costs and timelines
  • Collects inputs from the Design team to be transferred to external suppliers involved in the realization of the prototypes and samples
  • Monitors production progress with the aim of meeting agreed costs and delivery times
  • Participates in fitting and correction of defects trials together with the industrialization office.

Profile

  • At least 1/2 years of previous experience in the sector
  • Specific knowledge of the Knitwear product category
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office, ProJ, PLM, and/or SAP
  • Good English (both written and spoken)
