Position

As a Louis Vuitton Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. TA Specialist is focused on Talent Acquisition but may also include exposure to Employee Relations, Development, Organizational Effectiveness and DEI responsibilities.  The role directly manages full-cycle recruitment for Retail Store Management and Regional level roles and has oversight to all positions within the dedicated Region(s). 

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources and working in collaboration with leaders at all levels to identify, select and hire top talent (perm and temp), inclusive of external recruitment as well as placement of internal talents from within Louis Vuitton.

Job responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Advertise, source, identify, screen and interview retail and corporate candidates ensuring the match of business needs and culture
  • Accurately track the process of each open position, to ensure the business is updated and aware of open roles within their teams
  • Partner with the store and corporate leaders in mapping out the recruitment needs for their open position and leveraging this information to target best in class talent
  • Conduct thorough interviews and recruitment days with prospective candidates ensuring everyone shortlisted fulfils the role brief plus meets our hiring standards
  • Ensure that all those involved in the recruitment process (both the candidate & hiring manager) is continuously updated in a timely & effective manner including the acknowledgement of resumes and interview information, updates and feedback
  • Deliver at all times a seamless candidate experience for all applicants who approach Louis Vuitton
  • Maximise the use of our company website, job boards to ensure we are attracting a wide variety of candidates both from within and outside of the luxury market
  • Ensure all advertisements written reflect our brand image and position within the market place
  • Ensure the administration of all HR hiring processes is closely followed at all times
  • Continuously review our talent acquisition and hiring processes to ensure they meet the needs of the business and making recommendations on how the tools can be further enhanced

 

Development

  • Suport the Canadian Organizational Management Review (OMR) process to ensure the identification, development and retention of top talent in the Country
  • Support and maintain the administration of succession planning/development strategies
  • Serve as a liaison between management and the employees in need of development
  • Support nomination and management of missions for the Canadian Market

Profile

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or other relevant field of study is preferred. Will consider relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist recruiting for high-volume non-exempt positions. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (speak, read, and write) is required.
  • Concise verbal communication skills with the ability to speak in front of various groups.
  • Solid experience in using a variety of TA platforms, systems, and social media.
  • Experience working with talent KPI’s and various performance metrics, i.e. days open, time-to-fill; quality of source, show-rates, etc.
  • Advanced computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Experienced in using ATS for candidate management, talent metrics and reporting.
  • Possess a high level of energy, creativity, and independent thinking.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying resources to build a candidate pipeline.
