Position

As a Louis Vuitton Store Manager, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. You will lead and develop the store team through inspiring hands-on management and coaching. You will manage and coach your team into building sustainable Client relationships, ensuring that every Client is treated according to the Louis Vuitton promise. You will strive to identify business opportunities and implement the related actions in order to ensure the achievement of your store’s goals. You will be directly accountable for developing the business and monitoring your store’s operations and budget.

Job responsibilities

  • Client and Business Development
    • optimize the store's commercial performance
    • lead and develop the business of the store - improve sales, minimize losses, promote new products, in line with overall company objectives
    • maximize the potential of all product categories and universes in store
    • build and develop clientele loyalty, including planning and delivering of CRM events and initiatives, in conjunction with the Head Office and in line with the Louis Vuitton brand image
    • establish a client-centric mindset
    • be knowledgeable and aware of competitive landscape and market trends, analysing and recommending areas for business development and improvement
  • Store Operations
    • lead the management of the store, ensuring daily operations and functions are carried out in line with company procedures
    • ensure policies, standards and Louis Vuitton procedures are implemented and maintained
    • identify and implement plans to deliver efficiencies and productivity improvements in all areas of store operations
    • monitor store controllable expenses, supervise loss, asset protection and risk management (cost control & budget)
    • oversee store security and health and safety matters
    • manage external supplier relationship and contracts

  • Team management and Development
    • develop managers to ensure the teams deliver the Louis Vuitton Promise to every Client
    • identify, recruit and develop talents to secure succession plans for key positions
    • translate strategic and business goals into individuals actions and objectives
    • set team and individual targets & monitor performances
    • provide leadership amongst the team, ensuring positive team spirit and motivation
    • ensure all human resources policies and procedures are implemented, resolving all staff issues as appropriate

  • Role Model on Selling and Floor Management
    • ensure business opportunities
    • provide qualitative and consistent feedback to the teams
    • be an ambassador for the Louis Vuitton brand
    • represent the brand in all public/store events and activities, to promote Louis Vuitton image, brand and products

Profile

  • Experienced retailer or manager with at least 8 years’ experience, with a strong sense of customer service
  • Exceptional high standards, knowledge/ understanding of the luxury sector and LVMH’s image.
  • Proactive, results-driven individual, demonstrating initiative and commercial creativity.
  • Strong communication-, social- and Networking Skills
  • Management and Leadership Skills - ability to lead and coach a team
  • Good reporting and analytical skills
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, able to be flexible
  • Strong command of English and Dutch 
  • Extensive management Experience in Retail
