Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated real estate project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in driving the successful planning, development, and execution of our real estate portfolio in Japan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a keen eye for operational excellence, and proven experience coordinating with both internal and external brands. Prior knowledge of the Japanese retail landscape and real estate market is essential for this role. Fluent level of Japanese and English.

 

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management & Process Improvement: Oversee daily operations for real estate, facilities, and sustainability, optimizing administrative processes, record-keeping, and communication. Prepare high-level reports and presentations for stakeholders and ensure seamless cross-departmental coordination for project delivery.
  • Real Estate Project Management: Manage property-related projects from initiation to completion, overseeing daily operational activities, administrative processes, and ensuring effective coordination across departments. This includes optimizing record-keeping, facilitating internal and external communications, and preparing high-level reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for all property projects and operations. Implement cost-saving strategies, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across properties. Manage environmental assessments, compliance with green building standards (e.g., LEED), and sustainability reporting.

Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a combination of real estate management, project financial oversight, and/or corporate sustainability roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Architecture, Construction and Real Estate).
  • Technical: Strong project management, and reporting skills. Familiarity with AutoCAD, project and property management related software and sustainability frameworks.
  • Leadership: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Proven capacity to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders.
