POSITION: MARKETING INTERN, Beauty & LCP

DEPARTMENT: MARKETING

LOCATION: CENTRAL LONDON

REPORTS TO: BEAUTY & LCP PRODUCT MANAGER

DIRECT REPORTS: NONE

DURATION: 12 MONTHS

START DATE: JANUARY 2026

 

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Assist the Beauty & LCP Product Manager in daily retail operational tasks and projects to drive the growth of Givenchy Beauty in make-up, skincare, and premium fragrances.

Job responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing strategy implementation

  • Assist in the operational implementation of the Givenchy marketing plan UK / Eire. This includes but not limited to; new product launch allocations, instore & retailer event activation, GWP and sample activation, new store openings, promotional site requirements, production of local support POSM, artwork for retailers, newsletters, raising POs and managing new vendor forms,
  • Contribute to the generation of creative ideas within the department

Trade and field-force

  • Main point of contact for the field and sales team on all operational elements and on basic product information (sizes / pricing / packshots)
  • Follow up day to day needs from the field and liaison with the Sales & Training departments
  • Follow up on various Trade requests, in line with trade marketing plan
  • Place all product/POSM orders incl. cupboard orders, pre-series, site support, retailer activations, agency send-outs
  • Act as key contact with Customer Service to track deliveries, monitor any OOS, etc.

Marketing Material

  • Responsible for development and production of retailer specific marketing material, in line with Marketing Managers guidelines and budget

Analysis and reporting

  • Responsible for promotional trackers to measure ROI
  • NPD market analysis on a monthly and ad hoc basis
  • Qualitative competition analysis, including brands and retailers
  • Compilation of Beauty & Premium Fragrance competitor slides for Monthly Business review to give context to market results
  • Launch reports including actual performance, monitoring vs target and recommendations
  • Complete two store visits per month to track competition, keep monthly tracker updated with key competitor 360 info
  • Lead & work with other departments on timely completion of Hot News & launch reports
  • In charge of getting qualitative field feedback on new launches

Budget

  • Raise all Beauty & LCP POs including Media POs
  • Monitor expenditure and reconciliation of internal systems
  • Ensure the PR & free-product budgets are rigorously kept up to date
  • Alternate monthly actuals with Fragrance intern (every 2 months)

Communications & Presentations

  • Creation of team communications on specific projects, e.g. monthly retail communications, engraving packs for stores, launch memos for big launches, supplier briefs.
  • Compilation of quarterly sales presenter to share with Commercial team.
  • Ad hoc support on presentation slides for retailer strategy meetings, other internal & external presentations

Profile 

  • University educated
  • Previous experience in Marketing or a related field, preferably in luxury goods in retail industry and / or FMCG
  • Interest in the Beauty industry
  • Available for 1 year
