Since 2021, Armand de Brignac has been a Joint Venture between Jay-Z and Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH), and has been one of the most prestigious marques in its category, with ambitious plans for acceleration and growth.  

Armand De Brignac Sr Director, Finance & Operations, is responsible for ensuring the fair and accurate valuation of company’s assets and liabilities, the highest level of compliance with local rules and regulations as well as LVMH / MH rules and processes, the efficiency of operations in liaison with the supply/logistic and production partners, as well as the successful achievement of the Company objectives as defined by the Board.

Finance: She/he will provide leadership and be responsible for a wide range of financial matters including strategic and business planning, budgeting processes, asset optimization, as well as providing full knowledge of the financial implications of the different business options.

Operations: She/he will ensure the efficiency of the industrial services and operations (production, supply chain, NPD, purchasing) as well as lead transversal initiatives to improve the overall performance.

Job responsibilities

1/ Operations

Supply and Production

  • Ensure solid processes are in place between Armand de Brignac and its supply and production partners
  • Ensure operational plans are in place to support the brand growth (Sourcing/Capacity/CAPEX)
  • Participate in supply planning process to ensure availability and/or best allocation of products
  • Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement

Logistics & Others

  • Ensure liaison with the supply partner to optimize products availability in markets
  • Participate to S&OP process, providing visibility on production and brand performance in markets
  • Monitor and challenge markets’ sales forecast accuracy and slow moving items / obsoletes

2/ Finance

Business and Markets Performance

  • Ensure the elaboration of strategic guidelines and business strategies for global business worldwide
  • Responsible for long-term business planning (5YP) and budgeting process, according to the strategic guidelines agreed by the Board
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of Armand de Brignac consolidated financial statements in compliance with MH / LVMH rules, business analysis and communication with the CEO, Executive Committee, Board members and financial community of MH
  • Ensure optimized allocation of resources to deliver best return on investment
  • Understand, analyze and provide insights on strategic business dynamics & trends, analyze the changes & factors affecting business performance and highlight any financial issue requiring management attention.

Finance and Accounting

  • Manage and deliver the full financial planning process: forecasting, planning and reporting
  • Prepare and present all Op Reviews, Budgets, Medium & LT plans and other ad hoc meetings
  • Oversee the preparation of financial analysis and presentations to a wide spectrum of audiences
  • Publish full consolidated P&L financial analysis and report on revenue metrics
  • Ensure correct valuation of assets and liabilities, according to MH / LVMH rules and procedures
  • Build cash forecast and analyze and explain cash flow evolutions
  • Identify and validate CAPEX needs and prepare requests for approval
  • Identify risks and opportunities vs. latest forecast
  • Identify investment opportunities and mitigation plans to maximize bottom line
  • Supervise all finance and accounting matters
  • Initiate and / or support change initiatives aiming at simplifying the planning & reporting process, improving agility while staying efficient.
  • Implement efficient finance organization for Armand de Brignac

3/ Internal Control

  • Responsible for Internal Control of Armand de Brignac JV
  • Business owner of the financial & operations processes
  • Develop processes and maintain documentation to enhance efficiencies and reduce risks
  • Run an annual Internal Control Self-Assessment according to LVMH guidelines

4/ People and Leadership

  • Lead and manage a high performing Finance & Operations team, capitalize on the strengths of the individuals, while ensuring development of the team, fostering inter-operability and a supportive mindset. Establish & implement soft and hard skills development plans.
  • Review all key appointments and organizational changes to strengthen organization capabilities.
  • Member of the Armand de Brignac ComEx and representative within the IT/Financial/Operations communities of MH/LVMH.
  • Attend Board Meetings in partnership with President & CEO

Profile

Education

University Degree, MBA or Equivalent

Professional Experience

Minimum 12 years experience in Finance and Operations roles in the beverage or similar industry, of which 2-3 years in a similar role
