Job responsibilities
YOUR MISSION
As Brand Director, you will play a crucial role in collaboration to the development and execution of the strategies in order to build and strengthen the brand's presence in KSA. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Commercial, brand management and marketing initiatives tailored to the local market's dynamics and customer preferences.
Your main responsibilities in this role include:
Market Strategy
- Develop localized strategies and plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth in the specific market.
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand local consumer behavior, preferences, and competition to inform strategic decisions.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage in collaboration with the General Manager the market budget effectively, ensuring proper allocation of resources to achieve goals and maximize ROI.
Managing the P&L of the subsidiary
People Management
- Recruit, lead, inspire and develop team
- Assign objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower teams and provide feedback
- Ensure identification and proper development and recognition of talent within team
Retail and Distribution Management
- Oversee the brand's retail presence in the market, including owned boutiques and retail partnerships.
- Oversee the development and implementation of digital channels to optimize retail and distribution activities, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience for customers.
- Ensure a premium and consistent customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with local partners to ensure brand consistency and customer experience.
- Plan and execute events, activations, and collaborations that resonate with the local audience.
- Utilize these opportunities to create buzz and generate brand awareness.
Sales Performance
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to monitor the brand's performance in the local market.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
Marketing and Communication
- Overseeing local marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, events, and public relations, to build brand awareness and loyalty
- Ensure the brand's positioning and identity are consistently conveyed throughout all marketing materials and customer touchpoints.
Compliance and Legal Regulations
- Ensure all marketing and branding activities adhere to local laws, regulations, and cultural sensitivities.
Profile
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in commercial, brand management, marketing, and/or a related field within the luxury goods industry, preferably with experience in the local market or a similar market segment.
- Strong understanding of the local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing successful marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global and regional teams, as well as external partners.
- Passion for luxury products, craftsmanship, and an understanding of the fragrance or cosmetics industry.
- Fluency in English and Arabic
