POSITION: Counter Manager- Stansted Airport

  As an Counter Manager for Dior Travel Retail, you are a brand ambassador and an expert in make-up, skincare and fragrance.  Through your engaging style, you will actively drive and increase your business, encouraging all Beauty Consultants to achieve their sales targets.  By leading and coaching your Team, you will ensure that all customers  receive a personalised luxury service.  The role involves both strategic thinking and collaboration with senior Management, as well as retail-focus and operational efficiency. Through your passion for the brand you will demonstrate an attitude that befits Dior at all times.   

Job responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

 SALES

  • To set and achieve targets in line with Company expectations.
  • To anticipate and develop action plans to optimize business through consumer insights, BCs shift management, promoters investments, incentive schemes and Trade Marketing activations.
  • To pro-actively sell Parfums Christian Dior products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers
  • To lead and coach your team to ensure all Team Members, along with yourself are aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • To pro-actively link sell, cross sale and up sale across product categories, to increase average transaction value (ATV) and average transaction units (ATU) To achieve sales targets.
  • Maximize novelties launch plans.
  • Ensure proper stock at POS with continuous follow up on stock issues.

SERVICE

  • To educate and train Team Members on the use and history of Dior products, (up to date with My Dior)
  • Be passionate about people and growing your team.
  • Liaise with training team to ensure BCs attend the mandatory training courses and follow-up on the coaching sessions done by the trainers and/or the Retail Manager himself.
  • Recruit and integrate the best-qualified salesforce.
  • To be knowledgeable on all Dior products and be able to propose personalised products to clients and confidently and appropriately overcome any objections.
  • Demonstrate products on customers and confidently explain the benefits of each products

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • To proactively manage all Team Members, identifying coaching and development opportunities and support with training and guidance
  • To conduct regular counter visits and ensure the development of BCs through regular appraisals.
  • To motivate BCs to have team spirit and be goal driven.

OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • To enhance Dior Brand Image through visual, merchandising, BC grooming and POS activities.
  • To manage stock levels, working in partnership with the other Counter Managers to ensure that there is sufficient levels.
  • To proactively grow your business through events and promotions.
  • To ensure all operational and administrative tasks are complete and to the best of your ability
  • solid decision maker in line with Dior values to help the business grow and to be ready for day to day challenges.

 

GENERAL

  • To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with Corporate guidelines
  • To adhere to all Company procedures and policies
  • To build relationships with Avolta store management and other key opinion leaders in your airport and adhere to all store policies and procedures
  • To carry out any additional duties as directed by the senior management Dior team
