Margareth Henriquez

President and Chief Executive Officer , Krug

Born in Venezuela and educated in the United States, Margareth Henriquez has a passion for people, for cultural differences … and for the world of wines and spirits. The former President of Moët Hennessy Argentina has been at the head of Krug since 2009 and now lives in France.

A graduate of Harvard, she clearly has a cerebral side. At the same time, she is perfectly at ease in the field, quite literally when talking and listening to winemakers. Margareth Henriquez pursues her work with a style not unlike that of the Champagne House’s founder, Joseph Krug. Roots and history are accompanied by a visionary spirit that serves as her inspiration as she guides Maison Krug into new areas. Her approach is reflected in one of the House’s jewels, an object to which Margareth feels a deep attachment, Joseph Krug’s personal notebook. Bound in cherry-colored leather, this notebook is where Krug’s founder jotted down comments, advice, and observations that continue to shape Krug Grandes Cuvées today.

Each day with Margareth Henriquez is a journey during which different accents meet and blend. From Paris to Reims, we invite you to spend a few hours with the President of Krug.
