Acqua di Parma supports Peggy Guggenheim legacy

“Art Inspires Business. Business inspires Art”. A devoted patron of culture and craftsmanship, Acqua di Parma has announced its partnership with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, one of Italy’s most important and most visited museums.

Located at the very heart of the city in the 18^th century Palazzo Venier dei Leoni near the Grand Canal, the museum hosts a large collection of European and American art from the early 20^th century. Ranging from cubism to surrealism and abstractionism to expressionism, the museum’s masterpieces include works by Picasso, Braque, Kandinski, Dali and other artists.

The initial collection of the museum consisted solely of the works assembled by famous American heiress and philanthropist Peggy Guggenheim, who lived in the Palazzo for 30 years. Now the landmark institution is also home to the Hannelore B. and Rudolph B. Schulhof Collection, the Gianni Mattioli Collection and the Nasher sculpture garden. Inaugurated in 1980, the museum is currently managed by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
