Launch of new LVMH.com site

LVMH unveiled its new corporate website in April. Designed to provide visitors with information and let them discover the LVMH spirit, the revamped LVMH.com showcases the Group’s values with content offering an unprecedented look behind the scenes.

TAG Heuer invents the luxury smartwatch

On November 9 TAG Heuer unveiled its first smartwatch, dubbed TAG Heuer Connected. Developed through a groundbreaking partnership with Intel and Google, this luxury timepiece combines connectivity and intelligence with Swiss watchmaking know-how. A major first in the luxury watch industry.

LVMH announced the creation of an internal carbon fund

Ahead of the COP21 meeting, LVMH announced the creation of an internal carbon fund. The objective is to create a virtuous circle to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the Group and its Houses and thus contribute to international efforts to limit global warming.

“Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” Louis Vuitton exhibition at the Grand Palais

Louis Vuitton invites visitors on a journey into its history with the exhibition “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” at the Grand Palais in Paris. From the first travel trunks to sophisticated luggage, the historic heritage on display invites visitors to the heart of the iconic leather goods house. A must-see exhibition that runs until February 21, 2016.

Voted top employer by business school students for the past 10 years, LVMH strengthened its ties with ESSEC and HEC

LVMH encourages excellence and savoir-faire at every level, including a commitment to developing young talents by sponsoring university chairs at leading business schools. LVMH has provided support for students at ESSEC for 25 years as part of a special program in luxury goods, which was renewed this year. LVMH also signed a partnership with HEC for training in luxury retail management.

These commitments earned LVMH the top spot in the Universum preferred employer ranking for the 10th consecutive year.

Spectacular new Dior boutique in Seoul

On June 20 Dior inaugurated a new store in the hear of the Cheongdam-dong district in Seoul, South Korea. The six-level building by architect Christian de Portzamparc brings the Dior codes to life with stunning vibrancy.

Back to school for IME 2015 classes

The Fondation Louis Vuitton invited the second class of students in the LVMH Institut des Métiers d’Excellence (IME) vocational training program on October 27th to a ceremony marking the start of the 2015 school year. The IME vocational training program offers degree courses that allow students to combine training at prestigious schools with professional experience in the workshops of LVMH Houses.

Hennessy celebrates 250th anniversary with a world tour

Founded in 1765, Hennessy celebrated its 250th anniversary this year with the signature “Crafting the future since 1765”. The Cognac maker organized a series of high-profile events, notably the Hennessy Tour, an artistic installation that visited China, Russia, the United States and South Africa.

Fendi inaugurates new headquarters in Rome

An iconic Roman landmark and a symbol of Italian creativity and savoir-faire, the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana (Palace of Italian Civilization) became Fendi’s new headquarters in 2015. Unoccupied for over 40 years, the building underwent major renovation, funded by Fendi, as the House continues to support the heritage of the Eternal City.

Dior releases new men’s fragrance Sauvage

Parfums Christian Dior created Sauvage, the first men’s fragrance from the House since the launch of Dior Homme in 2008. Conceived by Dior Perfumer-Creator François Demachy, Sauvage is defined by radically fresh notes and embodied by Johnny Depp, the symbol of contemporary virility.

Opening of the exhibition Keys to a Passion

A major exhibition entitled Keys to a Passion, the third stage in the inaugural program of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, opened on April 1 and ran until July 6, 2015. The exhibition presented a selection of major works that laid the foundations of modernity. The event affirmed the principles that inspired the Foundation, an institution dedicated to artistic creativity.

Sephora Flash, the connected beauty store

A pioneer in digital innovation, Sephora launched the first connected beauty store, Sephora Flash, in October. Located at 66 rue de Rivoli in Paris, the store introduces a new concept on the cutting edge of beauty and technology, blending conventional shopping with a vast digital offering for an unprecedented customer experience.

La Ruche, the new Guerlain’s production site

Inaugurated at the beginning of February, La Ruche is Guerlain’s new production site for Makeup and Skincare. The state-of-the-art site meets demanding pharmaceutical industry standards, as well the most exacting environmental norms. The new facility will support Guerlain’s ambitious development program for the coming 40 years.

Berluti opens new workshop in Italy

Berluti recently inaugurated a new shoes and leather goods workshop in Ferrare, in Northern Italy. Spanning over 8,000 square meters, the new facility will accommodate the company’s growth. The new workshop will accommodate the international expansion of the House, doubling the number of artisans while at the same time totally rethinking the production ecosystem for Berluti’s shoes and leather goods.
