To present its Autumn-Winter 2016-2017 haute couture collection, Dior chose its mythic Paris address at 30, avenue Montaigne, the historic headquarters of the House. The unique Dior spirit continues to resonate in this elegant private residence, inaugurated by Monsieur Dior on December 16, 1946.
Studio heads Lucie Meier and Serge Ruffieux revisited iconic Dior codes in a discrete register of black and white. With embroidered floral motifs on Bar jackets and flowing gowns in vaporous silk muslin, each silhouette emphasized the meticulous craftsmanship of Dior ateliers.
