From Paris to Shanghai, Milan to New York… In January, Dior shared some of its timeless creative magic with a group of talented young students from across the globe who gathered in the French capital during Spring/Summer 2014 Haute Couture Fashion Week.

Representing seven countries and 16 art schools, the group of 81 students was selected exclusively by distinguished institutions that have shaped the worlds of art and fashion as we know it today. These prestigious schools include London’s Central Saint Martins, Bunka Fashion College of Tokyo, and the Parsons School of Design of New York amongst others.

The future designers were first treated to a unique visit to the Dior ateliers, an unprecedented and enriching opportunity to appreciate the inimitable savoir-faire of the House. The visitors had a chance to see the latest collection in all its finest details as the seamstresses made the finishing touches before the show. The students were then invited to see the collection on the runway at an exclusive viewing held at the Rodin Museum, culminating with a meeting with Dior Creative Director Raf Simons backstage.

As part of the event the students also had the opportunity to visit LVMH Headquarters, attending a presentation on the history of the Group’s fashion Houses and getting a chance to meet the representatives from their creative departments.
