In conjunction with International Women’s Day, members of the LVMH Executive Committee and more than 300 Group managers came together on March 13th at LVMH headquarters in Paris. The agenda for the day included conferences, panel discussions, networking and coaching sessions, providing an opportunity to reaffirm our goal of achieving gender parity in key positions by 2020 by accelerating the career development of women within the Group.

The EllesVMH program was launched in 2007 to foster diversity at all positions and at all levels of LVMH and its Maisons. The program has led to excellent results, since LVMH currently counts 42% women in top management positions, compared with just 23% in 2007. This encouraging progress puts the Group on track to meet its commitment of strict gender parity in these key positions by 2020.

To sustain this momentum and encourage everyone to advance further, the Group invited its top managers – members of the Executive Committee, CEOs and Human Resources Directors of the Maisons – to join more than 300 managers for EllesVMH Accelerator Day on Wednesday, March 13th in Paris. The agenda was divided into two parts.

During the morning, members of the LVMH Executive Committee and numerous CEOs and HR Directors of the Maisons met with  Chantal Gaemperle, Group Executive Vice President Human Resources & Synergies, and Roula Rozakeas, Senior Vice President Human Resources Asia Pacific, to discuss results to date and what remains to be done to achieve the objective of 50% women in top management positions by 2020.

In the afternoon a larger group of LVMH managers, both women and men, came together around the theme “Celebrate and Empower LVMH Women”. They took part in discussions guided by inspiring leaders, coaching sessions and networking to share best practices.
