EllesVMH celebrates International Women’s Day

To mark International Women’s Day this March 8th, LVMH is organizing a series of simultaneous internal events around the world and reaffirms its active commitment to promoting women in leadership positions. Over 1,000 female employees at LVMH in Paris, Cognac, New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London and Madrid will be taking part in these celebrations around a shared theme: “Dare”.

The Paris event, hosted by Chantal Gaemperle, Group Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Synergies, is being held at LVMH headquarters. Some 200 LVMH managers representing all its Houses have been invited to hear speakers from both inside and outside the Group. Participants will also be encouraged to share their own stories and viewpoints.

This label serves to anchor unity and inspire a forward-thinking vision. Thanks to events such as those being held around the world today, EllesVMH is better able to help forge links among women from different generations, Houses and backgrounds, encouraging their growth and strengthening synergies within the LVMH Group,” notes Chantal Gaemperle.
