Fendi’s capsule collection with internationally-acclaimed artist Nicki Minaj dropped on October 14. Dubbed FENDI Prints On, the capsule collection showcases Fendi’s iconic FF logo on eye-catching ready-to-wear and accessories.
With its rich heritage and renowned craftsmanship rooted in the art of tradition, Fendi has at the same time always been resolutely contemporary, welcoming fresh creative directions into the heart of the brand identity. The Maison’s FF Series collections celebrate its iconic logo with new interpretations. The latest chapter in this art of reinvention is Fendi’s collaboration with American rapper Nicki Minaj, showcasing the Maison from an exciting new perspective.
Known for her bold feminine sense of style melding streetwear attitude and high-end glamour, Nicki Minaj has imagined the FENDI Prints On capsule collection with a futuristic inspiration. The FF logo all-over pattern is combined with shimmering surfaces and rich textures. The color palette, ranging from metallic silver to fluo pink, makes for eye-catching oversized puffers, asymmetric swimsuits and body-hugging silhouettes. The collection also revisits the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette bags with its bold, frisky style.
Shot at a luxurious poolside in LA by photographer Steven Klein, the campaign captures the provocative charisma the superstar brings to the collection. FENDI Prints On is now available on fendi.com and will be sold in 52 Fendi boutiques worldwide from October 16.
