Hublot has announced an exclusive partnership with Depeche Mode, the proceeds from which will be donated to the non-profit charity: water. “The Singles” is a collection of 55 unique Hublot Big Bang watches, each inspired by one of the 55 singles released by the iconic group since it was formed. Each piece is accompanied by the corresponding record, a synthesizer and a RIMOWA suitcase, designed specially for the occasion.

To celebrate the 37-year career of Depeche Mode, Hublot has created 55 unique pieces of its iconic Big Bang model, each inspired by one of the 55 singles released by the group since its formation.

Representing Hublot’s distinctive Art of Fusion, the Big Bang has become an icon in the world of watchmaking, equipped with the Unico automatic movement developed inhouse by the Hublot manufacture. The watches in “The Singles” collection have a dial that partially shows an image of the corresponding record cover that inspired the watch. The back features the entire cover well as the logo of charity: water, both imprinted on the sapphire.

The watches come in a “kit” comprising the watch, a copy of the single and a limited edition synthesizer. To transport the kit, Hublot has partnered with German Maison RIMOWA, which has designed a special carry-on size suitcase.

The partnership –  carrying on a collaboration to support charitable causes dating back to 2010 – was announced in Milan on January 26 by the Swiss watchmaker with Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe and Martin Gore, co-founder of Depeche Mode. All proceeds will be donated to charity: water, a non-profit organization that works to provide clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries worldwide.
