Les Journées Particulières: a very special program at the Jardin d’Acclimatation

Entry, attractions and events are all free at the Jardin d’Acclimatation from May 20 – 22 for the Journées Particulières. The historic Paris gardens are open to the public for three very special days of activities and events. The program includes more than 75 workshops and 35 free attractions for young and old alike!

The Jardin d‘Acclimatation is once again taking part in Les Journées Particulières with a very special lineup of events. Merry-go-rounds, the Enchanted River, playgrounds, a farm, an aviary of exotic birds or simply a stroll through the gardens…the public is invited to discover the many treasures in 18-hectare park, fun and surprises guaranteed!

In addition to free access to all attractions, the program during Les Journées Particulières offers a fantastic choice of activities and events. Seven villages will propose 75 different workshops for a behind the scenes look at the Jardin and a chance to learn about the jobs of the 300 people who work there.  Merry-go-round operators, landscapers, veterinarians, beekeepers, puppeteers and others will share their passion for their métiers with visitors during fun workshops. A great chance to learn more about the fauna, flora and heritage of France’s oldest amusement park.

The “Village des Maisons” will feature eight LVMH Group Houses. Guerlain will introduce visitors to the art of perfumes, while Make Up For Ever and Benefit will present the work of makeup artists. Bulgari is hosting a creative drawing workshop, and participants can try their hand at journalism thanks to activities proposed by Radio Classique, Les Echos and Le Parisien. Beauty will also be in the spotlight at a Sephora Beauty Bar.

Music lovers are in for a treat as well with introduction to music workshops and outdoor concerts featuring the “Jazz Big Band of the 10th  Arrondissement Conservatory”, “Petites Mains Symphoniques”, “L’Orchestre à l’École” and the “Orchestre du Grand Turc”. And the “Sakura” and “Juju Alishina” ensembles will present a program of Japanese dance and music.

The Jardin d’Acclimatation will be open free of charge from 10 am to 8 pm on Friday May 20th and Sunday May 22nd, and will remain open late on Saturday May 21st, from 10 am until 10 pm. You won’t want to miss these exceptional festivities!
