Les Editions Louis Vuitton and Rizzoli New York have published an album featuring some of the most famous photographs of the brand. The 200 images propose a journey through the history of fashion, from the Fifties to today.

Louis Vuitton has always worked with major photographers including Helmut Newton, Juergen Teller, Peter Lindbergh, Annie Leibovitz and Mario Testino. The new book, entitled “Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography” contains photos by many of the greats who have transformed fashion photography into an art. Their collaboration with the exceptional universe of Louis Vuitton reveals the avant-garde spirit of the House.

With an introduction by photography curator Charlotte Cotton, the book has three main sections. There are emblematic fashion articles since 1997, all Louis Vuitton advertising campaigns, plus archive images dating back to the 1950s.

The limited-edition book features a white canvas cover with one of three different photographs on the cover, by Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean or Bert Stern. This elegant object is a perfect addition to the series of City Guides, Travel Books and works by individual artists published for more than 15 years by Louis Vuitton.
