From the city to the Montagne de Reims plateau and the region’s world-famous vineyards, the latest tome is an invitation to meet the locals and discover a unique art de vivre.

The latest Louis Vuitton City Guide is an invitation to discover the city of Reims and the surrounding Champagne region. While the region is world-renowned for the eponymous elixir, it also has much, much more to offer visitors. Alongside the sparkling wine that embodies French art de vivre, refinement, elegance and celebration is an ebullient and dynamic region bursting with creative energy all year long. With great restaurants, a thriving arts and music scene and superb architecture, Reims enjoys a well-deserved reputation that extends well beyond the champagne vineyards.

“We are always eager to promote our terroirs and celebrate the Champagne region, and this guide is a gift to the region. As a leader in champagne production we want to pay tribute to the people behind the global appeal of champagne and support a region where many of our Maisons have their roots and history,” says Philippe Schaus, Chief Executive Officer of Moët Hennessy.

To capture the atmosphere of the region and reveal rare finds, a dozen journalists and specialists combed the city and the surrounding area. They met passionate people with amazing talent, visited monuments, explored stores and wine cellars and dined incognito at the best restaurants to prepare a guide that is topical, fresh and seductive – just like Champagne!

As the French enjoy a chance to rediscover their country, this new City Guide reveals a wealth a hidden riches throughout the region. Presented by four themes – Hotels, Restaurants, Bars & Cafés, Art & Culture – these must-visit addresses are accompanied by comments from the authors. The latest tome in the collection also adds profiles of the inhabitants of Reims. Famous or not, these cellar masters, chefs, artisans, football stars and journalists all express the soul of their city. Their stories show why they share such a strong attachment to the region where they have long lived and worked, offering insights into the singular essence of the remarkable Champagne region.
