Jardin d’Acclimatation welcomes nearly 30,000 visitors during reopening weekend!

Following the inauguration on Saturday morning by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and Bernard Arnault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LVMH, the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris opened its doors to 30,000 visitors from Paris and the greater Paris area, along with a good many tourists.

The park was bustling with activity on its first weekend as visitors discovered the many new offerings, featuring 40 rides and attractions – including four big roller coasters – plus 500 animals (exotic birds, goats, rabbits and mouflon sheep), 16 restaurants catering to every taste, and 18 hectares (45 acres) of elegantly landscaped nature. The Jardin’s leafy alleys were abuzz with 300 street artists – jugglers, magicians, fire-breathers – marching bands and parades, celebrating a thoroughly modern makeover designed to delight all publics.

The new “naturally Parisian” Jardin is equal parts public square, amusement park, and a place resonating with laughter and joie de vivre where visitors can enjoy nature and life sciences. The Jardin d’Acclimatation is off to a resounding start and looks forward to 25 more years of sheer happiness for its visitors.
