PATOU opened its very first store in France last December 14, located in the heart of the Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann department store. The brand has until now focused development of its retail footprint on Japan and South Korea, where it counts ten standalone boutiques.
PATOU CEO Sophie Brocart said the Maison was especially delighted with this first store in Paris: “We are proud to inaugurate our first store in Paris. PATOU embodies a unique Parisian spirit and we’re excited about connecting with our local clientele. Taking this major step with Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is even more special since they have carried the brand since its relaunch in 2019.”
Guillaume Henry, Artistic Director of PATOU, was equally enthusiastic: “I’m really excited about opening our fist store in the heart of Paris, a city that’s a constant source of inspiration for me.”
The opening of the store also reflects PATOU’s vision of a more mindful and sustainable fashion, centered on the use of eco-responsible and organic materials. This expresses the brand’s environmental commitments and an ever-growing emphasis on transparency and sustainability.
