“A cathedral of modern commerce”*, Le Bon Marché has since its creation provided customers with a unique shopping experience. Patrice Wagner, Chairman and CEO of the Bon Marché Group, talks about some of the things that make the Left Bank department store so different, as well as future plans.

Le Bon Marché is a distinctively French—and Parisian—department store that has always been on the cutting edge of the retail experience since its founding in 1852 by Aristide Boucicaut. The current head, Patrice Wagner, took over the helm of the store in 2010. In a video interview, he talks about the unique character of the emblematic Left Bank emporium, a retail flagship if ever there was one.
