Summer products: Tie Dye, Dior’s summer palette

Each year, LVMH brands unveil exclusive new products that celebrate the summer season. Each week, our 2015 tour features a different sun-drenched creation. Today, discover Tie Dye makeup collection from Parfums Christian Dior.

A master of couture and prints, Dior has transposed the textile effects spotlighted in its Summer 2015 ready-to-wear show to a summer makeup collection. Inspired by Raf Simons’ patchworks, the Tie Dye lipsticks, nail polishes, blushes and eyeshadows revisit soft faded hues synonymous with lazy sunny days. The blend of summery solar colors composes an incandescent palette for luminous faces.

For this new collection, Parfums Christian Dior Creative and Image Director Peter Philips has revisited the House’s iconic makeup products. Dior Addict lipstick is infused with a second color at the center to highlight brilliant contrasts. The blush is transformed into four shades of harmonies that swirl from orange to iridescent pink, illuminating tanned summer skin. The multicolor eyeshadow takes on solar, metallic tones for scintillating eyes. The Tie Dye Top Coat for nails comes in grenadine, giving nails a deliciously childlike look. Regressive, vibrant and solar, the Tie Dye collection promises a mischievous and fun Summer 2015.
